carburant Enter the information about the people you want to offer gifts to, or simply import them from your iPhone directory. Define an annual spending limit for each person. Specify each contact's birthday to be able to use the reminder functionality.

Gift List Pro reminds you by local notification of:

  • upcoming gift offering dates

(You can customize the notification time in the settings.)

When you create a gift in the application, schedule the date you will offer it on and link it to a person or company, with a spending limit and an optional comment (shop, request, etc.).

carburant When you buy a gift, don’t forget to input the price you actually paid for it. You will thus have the opportunity to monitor your budget, either by gift or by person (recipient).

carburant The application also enables you to keep track of everything gift-related thanks to a calendar and a synthetic dashboard view, informing you at any time of upcoming birthdays and current gifts (whether they are simply planned or already bought but not yet offered).

carburant And so you’re never taken by surprise, Gift List Pro provides you with precise information displayed by lists or graphics regarding:

  • your monthly gift budget

  • your projected budget for the months to come

  • an annual budget follow-up for each person

Gift List Pro also gives you the opportunity to export all the information about scheduled, bought and offered gifts by e-mail thanks to a generated CSV file (processed by any spreadsheet program).

Help & FAQ

How can I add a new gift recipient?

Hit the “+” button on the Persons tab. Choose whether you want to fully create it or simply import it from your directory. You can then enter all the information related to this person or company.

You can also define an annual spending limit for this person there, should you want to monitor the evolution of your budget along the year.

How can I create a new gift?

Hit the “+” button on the Scheduled Gifts tab. Set the date you will offer it on, and select the recipient from the application directory or create one from directly from there with the “+” button.

Should you need to, you can also specify a comment (shop suggestion, requests, etc.) and a spending limit (used to calculate the projected budget).

What is the life cycle of a gift in Gift List Pro?

When you create a gift, its status is “Scheduled”, which means you still have to buy it.

You can then use the “Gift bought” button to indicate you own it (whether you actually bought it or obtained it by any other mean), and specify the amount you paid for so you can monitor your budget. The gift status is then “Bought”.

Once you offer it, don’t forget to hit the “Gift offered” button to signal you actually offered it, modify the gift status to “Offered” and remove the gift from the main Scheduled Gifts list.
